Nitrogen Fertilizers Explained: Urea, Ammonium and Nitrate Forms

Azotlu Gübreler Arasındaki Farklar: Üre, Amonyum ve Nitrat Formlarını Anlamak

How urea, ammonium and nitrate behave differently in soil, and why one large dose is not the same as splitting it.

Urea is not the form the plant takes up as soon as it is applied; it transforms in the soil. Ammonium and nitrate are different forms. Nitrate moves more readily with water. Temperature and moisture change that transformation; piling the dose once and splitting it are not the same result.

Extra nitrogen is not read as extra yield.
